3-D Ultra NASCAR Pinball
''3-D Ultra NASCAR Pinball'' is a racing video game released in 1998 for Windows and Macintosh, and is the fourth game in ''3-D Ultra Pinball'' video game series. It was also released under the title ''3-D Ultra Pinball: Turbo Racing''. The game received the Everyone rating from the Entertainment Software Rating Board. The game uses an improved graphics engine from the previous 3-D Ultra Pinball (video game), 3-D Ultra Pinball titles, which takes advantage of greater color depth and resolution up to 800x600 pixels. On the game's CD, the publishers have added texts and videos about NASCAR races. Gameplay Up to four players play a virtual pinball simulation with a NASCAR theme. Players can play a full season of races as Dale Earnhardt, Bobby Labonte, Terry Labonte or Bill Elliott. Play begins with a mini game in which the player can improve their car for the race. Dynamix, Inc. was an American developer of video games from 1984 to 2001, best known for the flight simulator ''Red Baron'', the puzzle game '' The Incredible Machine'', the '' Front Page Sports'' series, ''Betrayal at Krondor,'' and the online multiplayer game ''Tribes''. History The company was founded in Eugene, Oregon in 1984 by Jeff Tunnell and Damon Slye. Their first title, '' Stellar 7'', was released before company founding and was later remade with the Dynamix name on it. They made a number of games for the Commodore 64, among them Project Firestart, which was one of the most atmospheric titles for the C64. In the following years, Dynamix created a line of action games for Penguin Software and Electronic Arts, including one of the first games for the Commodore Amiga, '' Arcticfox''.
