Square Matrix
In mathematics, a square matrix is a matrix with the same number of rows and columns. An ''n''-by-''n'' matrix is known as a square matrix of order Any two square matrices of the same order can be added and multiplied. Square matrices are often used to represent simple linear transformations, such as shearing or rotation. For example, if R is a square matrix representing a rotation (rotation matrix) and \mathbf is a column vector describing the position of a point in space, the product R\mathbf yields another column vector describing the position of that point after that rotation. If \mathbf is a row vector, the same transformation can be obtained using where R^ is the transpose of Main diagonal The entries a_ (''i'' = 1, …, ''n'') form the main diagonal of a square matrix. They lie on the imaginary line which runs from the top left corner to the bottom right corner of the matrix. For instance, the main diagonal of the 4×4 matrix above contains the elements , , , . The d ...

2x2 Project
The 2x2 Project is a collaboration of epidemiologists, health science communicators and writers that publishes public health news and analysis. The project is sponsored by the Columbia University's Department of Epidemiology at the Mailman School of Public Health. Background The 2x2 Project went live on September 10, 2012, using the slogan, "Health Beyond the Headlines." The principle behind the 2x2 project's creation is that public health information should be accessible to everyone, not just researchers who read scientific literature. Its goal is to share health news and information in clear, compelling language that engages the public. Contributors and fellows write stories discussing issues varying from AIDS activism to brain trauma in professional football players. The project also publishes a weekly roundup of the "best and worst" health news from around the web, ranking reports on a scale from 'Fail' to 'FTW' (For the Win). The Editor in Chief iDana March an Assistant ...

2by2
2by2 is a lottery game offered in Kansas, Nebraska, North Dakota, and Wyoming. It is drawn nightly at the Iowa headquarters of the Multi-State Lottery Association (MUSL). Kansas and Nebraska started the game in 2002; North Dakota joined in 2006, with Wyoming added in March 14, 2021. Idaho joined on April 18, 2021, but ended participation on August 26th, 2022. Players choose two numbers from 1 through 26 in each of two number fields (red and white). Only one match (in either field) is needed to win. The top prize of $22,000, originally $20,000 (which is fixed, rather than a jackpot), is won by matching all four numbers. Players who buy a ticket good for seven consecutive drawings(or increments of 7 draws: 7, 14, 21, 28, 35 or 42) are eligible for a doubling of the top prize (to $44,000) if the top prize is won on a Tuesday. MUSL, from 1996 to 1998, offered a similar game called Daily Millions, with a grand prize of $1 million cash. Daily Millions had red, white, and blue numbe ...

Two-wheel Drive
Two-wheel-drive (2WD) denotes Motor vehicle, vehicles with a Powertrain, drivetrain that allows two wheels to be driven, and receive Engine power, power and torque from the engine, simultaneously. Four-wheeled vehicles For four-wheeled vehicles (and by extension, vehicles with six, eight, or more wheels), this term is used to describe vehicles that are able to power at most two wheels, referred to as either front-wheel drive, front, or rear-wheel drive, rear-wheel-drive. The term 4x2 is also used, to denote four total wheels with two being driven. Most road vehicles use a 2WD layout due to its lightweight and simplicity. Traction on the road is usually sufficient that the driving force can be reliably transmitted through only two wheels. For vehicles that have part-time four-wheel drive, the term refers to the mode when 4WD is deactivated and power is applied to only two wheels. Two-wheeled vehicles For two-wheeled vehicles such as motorcycles and bicycles, the term is used to ...

Under The Red Sky
''Under the Red Sky'' is the Bob Dylan discography, 27th studio album by American singer-songwriter Bob Dylan, released on September 10, 1990, by Columbia Records. It was produced by Don Was, David Was, and Dylan (under the pseudonym Jack Frost). The album was largely greeted as a disappointing follow-up to 1989's critically acclaimed ''Oh Mercy''. Most of the criticism was directed at the slick sound of rock producer Don Was, as well as a handful of tracks that seem rooted in children's nursery rhymes. It is a rarity in Dylan's catalog for its inclusion of celebrity cameos by Jimmie Vaughan, Slash (musician), Slash, Elton John, George Harrison, David Crosby, Stevie Ray Vaughan, and Bruce Hornsby. Dedication The album is dedicated to "Gabby Goo Goo", now thought to be Desiree Gabrielle Dennis-Dylan, Dylan's daughter by Carolyn Dennis, born on January 31, 1986. Recording Four songs from the album, "Handy Dandy", "10,000 Men", "God Knows", and "Cat's in the Well", were recorded in a ...
