Well-known Text Representation Of Coordinate Reference Systems
Well-known text representation of coordinate reference systems (WKT or WKT-CRS) is a text markup language for representing spatial reference systems and transformations between spatial reference systems. The formats were originally defined by the Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC) and described in their ''Simple Feature Access'' and ''Well-known text representation of coordinate reference systems'' specifications. The current standard definition is ISO 19162:2019. This supersedes ISO 19162:2015. Version history This WKT format was initially defined by the Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC) in 1999, then extended in 2001. This format, also defined in ISO 19125-1:2004, is sometime known as "WKT 1". Later, evolution of the Coordinate Reference System conceptual model, new requirements and inconsistencies in implementation of WKT 1 format between different software have encouraged the revision of that format. The updated "Well-known text representation of coordinate reference systems" st ...

Well-known Text Representation Of Geometry
Well-known text (WKT) is a text markup language for representing vector geometry objects. A binary equivalent, known as well-known binary (WKB), is used to transfer and store the same information in a more compact form convenient for computer processing but that is not human-readable. The formats were originally defined by the Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC) and described in their Simple Feature Access. The current standard definition is in the ISO/IEC 13249-3:2016 standard. Geometric objects WKT can represent the following distinct geometric objects: *Point, MultiPoint * LineString, MultiLineString *Polygon, MultiPolygon, Triangle * PolyhedralSurface *TIN (Triangulated irregular network) *GeometryCollection Coordinates for geometries may be 2D (''x'', ''y''), 3D (''x'', ''y'', ''z''), 4D (''x'', ''y'', ''z'', ''m'') with an ''m'' value that is part of a linear referencing system or 2D with an ''m'' value (''x'', ''y'', ''m''). Three-dimensional geometries are designated by a ...

WKT (sealant)
WKT is a sealing compound that was developed by Paul Pietzschke, Chemisch-Technische Fabrik, Hamburg, Germany in 1962. It was made specifically to meet the stringent requirements in the yacht and shipbuilding industry. WKT belongs to the silicone group of sealants. It was made specifically to meet the stringent requirements in the yacht and shipping industry. Properties WKT is a highly elastic and non-aging sealant. It is a silicone rubber and one of the first fully synthetic sealants for the commercial marine industry. The active ingredient in WKT sealing compound is polydimethylsiloxane. WKT is used in countless applications such as the construction and building industry, windows and glazing, interior industry, plant engineering and construction, grommet maintenance, manufacturing industry, recreational vehicles ,(RV) and aircraft industries. Characteristics WKT is extremely UV resistant and maintains its high elasticity and adhesive force both in tropical and arctic cli ...
