2Phat
''2Phat'' was an Irish television programme that was shown twice weekly on Network 2 from 1998 to 2000. It reunited Ray D'Arcy and Zig and Zag, who had previously appeared together on '' The Den''. Following the demise of this show, all three would not appear together again until 14 November 2008, when D'Arcy hosted a ''Den Reunion Reunited'' special on his Today FM programme ''The Ray D'Arcy Show''. Format The theme music for the opening of the TV show was a version of "On Her Majesty's Secret Service" by Propellerheads. Other music was provided by DJ Lee. The show typically consisted of 15 audience members, and would involve a series of short sketches which led to a question. The person who buzzed in first got a chance to answer the question. At the end of the show, one person would be selected at random (from the people who answered a question correctly) to play the final round. The final prize was a motor scooter. Zig And Zag (puppets)
Zig and Zag are an Irish puppet duo, featured on RTÉ, performed by Ciaran Morrison and Mick O'Hara. The characters are a pair of furry extraterrestrial twins from the planet Zog. They made their television début on 22 September 1987 on RTÉ's ''Dempsey's Den''. Two years later they won a Jacob's Award for TV Personalities of the year. In 1992, Zig and Zag found fame in the UK when they joined the team of the Channel 4 breakfast show ''The Big Breakfast''. During the 1990s the characters spawned a merchandising range of comic books, videos and embarked on a recording career – scoring a UK top-five single with "Them Girls Them Girls". Ray D'Arcy
Raymond Michael D'Arcy (born 1 September 1964) is an Irish television and radio presenter currently on his second stint at state broadcaster Raidió Teilifís Éireann (RTÉ). He once presented a self-titled weekday morning radio programme on the Denis O'Brien-owned Today FM. His professional partner on that show, Jenny Kelly, became his wife on 24 August 2013 and they have two children: Tom (born June 2012) and Kate (born 25 November 2006).
