The 22nd ceremony of the Forqué Awards was held on 14 January 2017 at the Teatro de la Maestranza in Seville. The gala was hosted by Carlos Latre. History The nominations were disclosed in December 2016. Organised by and broadcast on La 1 (Spanish TV channel), La 1, the ceremony was held at the Teatro de la Maestranza in Seville on 14 January 2017. It thus became the first ceremony of the Feroz Awards held outside Madrid. The gala featured musical performances by Jesse & Joy, Vanesa Martín, Diana Navarro and . It was hosted by Carlos Latre. Antonio P. Pérez was gifted the EGEDA Gold Medal recognizing a career in the film industry. Teatro De La Maestranza
The Teatro de la Maestranza is an opera house located in Seville, Spain. The theatre was conceived to be one of the main cultural venues of the Seville Expo '92, and the first performance took place in 1991, shortly before the inauguration of the Universal Exposition. The theatre was refurbished in 2005. Although the Teatro de la Maestranza is mainly devoted to opera, there are also performances of Zarzuela (Spanish operetta) and other musical performances. The resident orchestra is the Royal Seville Symphony Orchestra (ROSS), and the artistic director is Pedro Halffter. The theatre is the ROSS' main concert venue and the home of the Choir of the Friends' Society of the Maestranza Theatre. Àlex Monner Zubizarreta (born 27 January 1995) is a Spanish actor. He is known for his role as Lleó in the Catalan television series ''Polseres vermelles''. Monner was born in Barcelona. He debuted in Pau Freixa's film ''Herois'', and then had a television role in the TV3 series Polseres vermelles, scripted by Albert Espinosa and again directed by Freixa. ''A Monster Calls'' is a 2016 dark fantasy drama film directed by J. A. Bayona from a screenplay by Patrick Ness and based on Ness' 2011 novel of the same name.
