20th Anniversary Tour (Blink-182)
The 20th Anniversary Tour (originally known as the Neighborhoods Tour) is the eleventh headlining concert tour by American rock band, blink-182. It began on August 16, 2011, in Montreal, Quebec and finished on October 11, 2014, in Las Vegas, Nevada. The tour supported the band's sixth studio album, ''Neighborhoods'' (2011). Originally planned to begin in Europe, the tour was postponed so the band could focus on finishing their album. The tour visited Canada in 2011, the United States and Europe in 2012, Australia in 2013, and Europe again in 2014. For select 2013 dates, the band celebrated the tenth anniversary of the release of their 2003 untitled album. Rancid is an American punk rock band formed in Berkeley, California in 1991. Founded by Tim Armstrong and Matt Freeman, former members of the band Operation Ivy (band), Operation Ivy, Rancid is often credited as being among the wave of bands that revived mainstream interest in punk rock in the United States during the mid-1990s. Over their -year career, Rancid retained much of its original fan-base, most of which was connected to its underground musical roots. Against Me! is an American punk rock band formed in 1997 in Naples, Florida, by singer and guitarist Laura Jane Grace. 2011 Honda Civic Tour
The 10th Annual Honda Civic Tour was a concert tour co-headlined by American rock bands Blink-182 and My Chemical Romance (in what turned out to be their final tour until 2019). Joined by supporting acts Matt & Kim, Manchester Orchestra, and Rancid, the tour began on August 5, 2011, and ran until October 8. Sponsored by the Honda Motor Company, the 2011 tour marked the 10th anniversary of the concert tour, which Blink-182 headlined in its first incarnation. Background The tour was announced on May 23, 2011. Both bands had gathered at the Rainbow Bar and Grill in West Hollywood to announce to the tour. Mark Allan Hoppus (born March 15, 1972) is an American musician, songwriter and record producer best known as the bassist and co-lead vocalist for the rock band Blink-182, being the only constant member and the only one to appear on every album. He is also part of pop rock duo Simple Creatures with All Time Low frontman Alex Gaskarth. Hoppus became interested in skateboarding and punk rock in junior high, and received a bass guitar from his father at the age of 15. Four Year Strong is an American pop punk band from Worcester, Massachusetts, formed in 2001. The group consists of vocalists and guitarists Dan O'Connor and Alan Day, bassist Joe Weiss, and drummer Jake Massucco. Oxegen
Oxegen was a music festival in Ireland, first held from 2004–2011 as a rock and pop festival and again in 2013 with dance and chart acts only. The event was regularly cited as Ireland's biggest music festival, and, by 2009, it was being cited as the greenest festival, being a 100% carbon neutral event in Ireland, although this claim is highly disputed as green-washing. It was previously called Witnness, which ran from 2000 and was sponsored by Guinness. The event is promoted by MCD and is sponsored by Heineken.
