The 2023 edition of the Canadian Polaris Music Prize was presented on September 19, 2023. The winner was electronic musician Debby Friday for her album ''Good Luck''. Helena Deland is a Canadian singer-songwriter. To date she has released five EPs: ''Drawing Room'' (2016) and ''From the Series of Songs "Altogether Unaccompanied"'' Vol. I, II, III & IV (2018) that she has written and composed. Her first one-piece album ''Someone New'' was released on 15 October 2020. Corridor is a Canadian indie rock band from Montreal, Quebec, consisting of vocalist and bassist Dominic Berthiaume, guitarist Julian Perreault, guitarist and vocalist Jonathan Robert and drummer Julien Bakvis, with the addition of multi-instrumentalist Samuel Gougoux in live performances. Haley Nicole Blais is a Canadian singer-songwriter from Vancouver. Blais got her start on Youtube, uploading vlogs, original songs, and covers. She received mainstream success with the release of the single "Small Foreign Faction" in 2018. Since then, she has released two full length LPs and toured throughout North America and Europe. Alexandra Ashley Hughes (born 31 July 1985), known by her stage name Allie X, is a Canadian singer, songwriter, and visual artist. Oluwatobi Feyisara Ajibolade, known professionally as Tobi (stylized as TOBi), is a Nigerian born Canadian rapper and singer signed to RCA Records and Same Plate Entertainment. He released his debut studio album ''Still'' in May 2019 and his second album ''Elements Vol. 1'' in 2020.
