2023–24 Turkish Women's Football Super League
The 2023–24 Turkish Women's Football Super League ( tr, Turkcell Kadın Futbol Süper Ligi 2023–2024 Sezonu) is the 28th season of Turkey's top women's association football, women's football league. A total of 16 teams, 14 from the 2022-23 Turkish Women's Football Super League, 2022–23 Women's Super League season and 2 from the Turkish Women's Football First League, 2022–23 Turkish Women's Football First League season, compete in a Round-robin tournament, round-robin format. The league started on 27 August 2023 and ended on 5 May 2024. The fixtures were announced on 1 August 2023. The 2023-24 Turkish Women's Football Super League season ended after 30rounds on 5 May 2024. Galatasaray S.K. (wpmen's football), Galatasaray S.K. became champion, and is entitled to represent Turkey at the 2024–25 UEFA Women's Champions League, Champions League. Turkish Women's Football Super League
The Turkish Women's Football Super League ( tr, Kadınlar Süper Ligi), formerly the First Women's Football League (also known as the ''Turkcell Women's Football Super League'' for sponsorship reasons), is the top level women's football league of Turkey. In the 2022–23 season, one group of 10 teams and one group of nine teams play a double round robin and finals to decide a champion club, which qualifies for a spot in the UEFA Women's Champions League. On 8 March 2021, the International Women's Day, the Turkish Football Federation signed a sponsorship agreement with the Turkish mobile phone operator Turkcell. Accordingly, the First Women's Football League was named Turkcell Women's Super League ( tr, Turkcell Kadın Süper Ligi) beginning with the 2021–22 season. The Turkish Women's First Football League ( tr, Kadınlar 1. Futbol Ligi) is the second-tier league competition for women's association football in Turkey. Beşiktaş () is a district and municipality of Istanbul, Turkey, located on the European shore of the Bosphorus strait. Ataşehir Belediyespor
Ataşehir Belediyespor is a Turkish sports club based in the Ataşehir district of Istanbul. It is known for its women's football team that won the Turkish League championship in 2011, the fourth year of its existence. They defended their title successfully in 2012. History The women's team was founded as a high school team, Ümraniye Mevlana Lisesi SK, in 2007. The team was promoted at the end of their first season in the Women's Regional League to the Women's Second League. The next season, they were able to ascend to the Women's First League. Trabzonspor Club Women's Football Team ( tr, Trabzonspor Kulübü Kadın Futbol Takımı) is the women's football team of Trabzonspor in Trabzon, Turkey. It was established on 16 October 2007. Right after its foundation, the team was invited to join the Turkish Women's Football Super League. However, the league was cancelled in 2003 but re-established for the 2007–08 season.
