The 2023–24 Tampa Bay Lightning season is the 32nd season for the National Hockey League (NHL) franchise that was established on December 16, 1991. May On May 1, 2023, the Lightning signed forward prospect Maxim Groshev to a three-year entry-level contract. Groshev was originally selected by the Lightning in the third round of the 2020 NHL Entry Draft. Atlantic Division (NHL)
The National Hockey League has used the name Atlantic Division for two distinct groups of teams. The original Atlantic Division, the predecessor of which was the Patrick Division, was formed in 1993 as part of the Eastern Conference in a league realignment. As part of a 2013 realignment, the entirety of the former Atlantic Division was realigned into the Metropolitan Division. The 2023 Stanley Cup playoffs is the forthcoming playoff tournament of the National Hockey League (NHL). The playoffs are scheduled to begin on April 17, 2023, a few days after the 2022–23 NHL season, and will end in June 2023 with the 2023 Stanley Cup Finals, to determine the winner of the Stanley Cup. The Swedish Hockey League (officially SHL; sv, Svenska Hockeyligan) is a professional ice hockey league, and the highest division in the Swedish ice hockey system. The league currently consists of 14 teams. The ice hockey competitions of the 2022 Winter Olympics was played at two venues located in the Beijing cluster. The Beijing National Indoor Stadium, which seats 18,000, is one of what are being called Olympic Green venues. Matthew Tomkins (born June 19, 1994) is a Canadian professional ice hockey goaltender. He is currently playing for the Tampa Bay Lightning of the National Hockey League (NHL). Brayden Point (born March 13, 1996) is a Canadian professional ice hockey centre playing for the Tampa Bay Lightning of the National Hockey League (NHL).
