2023 Season Of The Hundred
The 2023 The Hundred was the third season of The Hundred, a professional franchise 100-ball cricket tournament involving eight men's and women's teams located in major cities across England and Wales. Salaries for male and female competitors were frozen at 2022 levels, with men paid between £30,000 and £125,000 and women paid between £7,500 and £31,250. Prize money was £600,000, with each winning team receiving £150,000 and each runner up £75,000. The rest of the money went as prizes to players. The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) is the Sports governing body, national governing body of cricket in England and Wales. Trent Bridge Cricket Ground is a cricket ground mostly used for Test, One-Day International and county cricket located in West Bridgford, Nottinghamshire, England, just across the River Trent from the city of Nottingham. Trevor Bayliss
Trevor Harley Bayliss (born 21 December 1962) is an Australian cricket coach and former first class cricketer. He played for New South Wales between 1985 and 1997 before becoming a coach. Bayliss was coach of England from 2015 to 2019. He coached Sri Lanka between 2007 and 2011, a period which culminated in his team finishing as runners-up in the 2011 World Cup. He has also coached the Sydney Sixers in Australia's Big Bash League and the Kolkata Knight Riders in the Indian Premier League. Under his management, the Knight Riders became IPL champions, twice, in 2012 and 2014. He also led the Sixers to a BBL title in the 2011–12 season and a CLT20 title the same year. Ashley Allan Noffke (born 30 April 1977) is a former Australian professional cricketer who played domestically for Queensland (1998–2009) and Western Australia (2009–2010). Noffke, who primarily played as a right-arm fast-medium bowler, also made three appearances for the Australian national side. Daniel Luca Vettori (born 27 January 1979) is a New Zealand cricket coach and former cricketer who played for the New Zealand national cricket team. He was the 200th player to win their Test cricket cap for New Zealand. Vettori was the youngest male player to have represented New Zealand in Test cricket, making his debut in February 1997 at the age of 18. He captained New Zealand between 2007 and 2011 and is New Zealand's most-capped Test cricketer and One Day International cricketer, with 112 Test caps and 291 ODI caps. Ben Sawyer (born 1978/79) is an Australian cricket coach, who is the current head coach of the New Zealand women's national cricket team, Birmingham Phoenix women's team in The Hundred, and Royal Challengers Bangalore in the Women's Premier League. The Rose Bowl, known for sponsorship reasons as Ageas Bowl is a cricket ground and hotel complex in West End, Hampshire. It is the home of Hampshire County Cricket Club, who have played there since 2001. It was constructed as a replacement for the County Ground in Southampton and also the United Services Recreation Ground in Portsmouth, which had been Hampshire's homes since 1882. Hampshire played their inaugural first-class match at the ground against Worcestershire on 9–11 May 2001, with Hampshire winning by 124 runs.
