Rob Krier
Rob Krier (born 1938 in Grevenmacher) is a Luxembourgian sculptor, architect, urban designer, and theorist. He is former professor of architecture at Vienna University of Technology, Austria. From 1993 to mid-2010 he worked in partnership with architect Christoph Kohl in a joint office based in Berlin, Germany. He is the older brother of fellow architect Léon Krier. Both are well-known representatives of New Urbanism and New Classical Architecture. Career Krier studied architecture at the Technical University of Munich from 1959 to 1964. After graduating, he worked with Oswald Mathias Ungers in Cologne and Berlin (1965–66) and Frei Otto in Berlin and Stuttgart (1967–70). The European Parliament (EP) is one of the legislative bodies of the European Union and one of its seven institutions. Marcel Schlechter (born 9 July 1928 in Luxembourg City) is a retired Luxembourgian politician and government minister who started his career as a bus driver. Claude Michely (8 October 1959 – 1 November 2023) was a Luxembourgish cyclist, who competed as a professional from 1982 to 1992. He won the Luxembourgish National Road Race Championships in 1984 and 1985, and was also a 12-time national cyclo-cross champion, having held the title continuously from 1979 to 1990. He competed in the 1985 Vuelta a España and the 1984 Giro d'Italia, but did not finish either race. He also finished third at the 1985 UCI Cyclo-cross World Championships. The Luxembourg national football team (nicknamed the ''Red Lions''; lb, Lëtzebuergesch Foussballnationalequipe, french: Équipe du Luxembourg de football, german: Luxemburgische Fußballnationalmannschaft) is the national football team of Luxembourg, and is controlled by the Luxembourg Football Federation. The team plays most of its home matches at the Stade de Luxembourg in Luxembourg City. Luxembourg has participated in every FIFA World Cup qualifiers since those for the 1934 World Cup and in UEFA European Championship qualifiers since those for Euro 1964. As of 2020, they have never qualified for any of these major tournaments.
