2023 Los Angeles Rams Season
The 2023 season was the Los Angeles Rams' 86th in the National Football League (NFL), their 87th overall, their 57th in the Greater Los Angeles Area, the fourth playing their home games at SoFi Stadium and their seventh under head coach Sean McVay. Despite struggling in the first half of the season with a 3–6 record, the Rams went 7–1 in their final eight games, improving on their 5–12 record from the previous season after a Week 13 win against the Cleveland Browns. After a close win against the Giants on New Years Eve, Los Angeles clinched its fifth winning season in six years. A loss from the Seattle Seahawks later that day helped the Rams clinch their return to the playoffs after a one-year absence. In the Wild Card Round, the Rams lost to the Detroit Lions, led by their former quarterback Jared Goff. The National Football Conference - Western Division or NFC West is one of the four Division (sport), divisions of the National Football Conference (NFC) in the National Football League (NFL). It currently has four members: the Arizona Cardinals, the Los Angeles Rams, the San Francisco 49ers, and the Seattle Seahawks. The division was formed in 1967 as the National Football League Coastal Division, keeping with the theme of having all of the league's divisions starting with the letter "C." The division was so named because its teams were fairly close to the coasts of the United States, although they were on opposite coasts, making for long travel between division rivals. The 2023 season was the Cleveland Browns' 71st season as a member of the National Football League (NFL), their 75th overall and their fourth under the head coach/general manager tandem of Kevin Stefanski and Andrew Berry. They improved upon their 7–10 record from the previous season, finishing with an 11–6 record and clinching their first winning season and playoff berth since 2020. Lance A. Schulters (born May 27, 1975) is an American football coach and a former American football Safety (American football position), safety. He was drafted by the San Francisco 49ers in the fourth round of the 1998 NFL Draft. He played college football at Hofstra University#Athletics and mascots, Hofstra. A Pro Bowl selection with the 49ers in 2000 Pro Bowl, 1999, Schulters also played for the Tennessee Titans, Miami Dolphins, Atlanta Falcons and New Orleans Saints. Joe DeCamillis (born June 29, 1965) is an American football coach. DeCamillis was formerly the special teams coordinator in the National Football League (NFL) for the Los Angeles Rams for two seasons. Bobby Joseph Wagner (born June 27, 1990) is an American football inside linebacker for the Los Angeles Rams of the National Football League (NFL). Hunter Long (born August 19, 1998) is an American football tight end for the Los Angeles Rams of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Boston College and was drafted by the Miami Dolphins in the third round of the 2021 NFL Draft. Early years Long grew up in Exeter, New Hampshire. The 2023 season was the Miami Dolphins' 54th season in the National Football League (NFL), their 58th overall, their eighth under general manager Chris Grier and their second under head coach Mike McDaniel. Jalen Lattrel Ramsey (born October 24, 1994) is an American football cornerback for the Los Angeles Rams of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Florida State Seminoles football, Florida State and was drafted by the Jacksonville Jaguars fifth overall in the 2016 NFL Draft.
