2023 Ladies European Tour
The 2023 Ladies European Tour is a series of golf tournaments for elite female golfers from around the world. The tournaments are sanctioned by the Ladies European Tour (LET). Changes for 2023 Purses The prize money for the Aramco Saudi Ladies International underwent a significant five-fold increase from US$1m to US$5m, matching the men's Saudi International on the Asian Tour, making the purse the third largest on the LET, offering $750,000 to the tournament champion. Tournaments The Lalla Meryem Cup returned to the schedule after a three-year hiatus due to the pandemic. Schedule The table below shows part of the 2023 schedule. Aditi Ashok
Aditi Ashok (born 29 March 1998) is an Indian professional golfer from Bangalore. She plays on the Ladies European Tour and LPGA Tour. She made her Olympic Games debut at the 2016 Summer Olympics. She qualified for the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, representing India in golf and finished 4th. Personal life Aditi was born in Bangalore to Ashok Gudlamani and Maheshwari. She was educated at The Frank Anthony Public School, Bangalore and graduated in 2016. When she started playing golf at the age of 5, there were only three golf courses in Bangalore. When she expressed an interest, her father took her to the Karnataka Golf Association driving range. Her father Ashok was her caddie in the 2016 Olympics, while her mother Maheshwari Ashok was her caddie for the Tokyo 2020 Olympics. Lily May Humphreys
Lily May Humphreys (born 14 March 2002) is an English professional golfer and Ladies European Tour player. She won the 2017 Girls Amateur Championship and the 2023 Joburg Ladies Open. Amateur career Humphreys had a successful amateur career. She won the Fairhaven Trophy in 2016 and the Girls Amateur Championship, English Women's Amateur Championship, and the Junior Orange Bowl International in 2017. In 2018 she won the Helen Holm Scottish Women's Open Championship and in 2019 she won the Irish Women's Open Stroke Play Championship and the Welsh Ladies Open Stroke Play Championship back to back. Helsingborg Open
The Helsingborg Open is a women's professional golf tournament held in Helsingborg, Sweden. It first featured on the Ladies European Tour (LET) in 2013. It was held at Vasatorp Golf Club until it moved to Allerum Golf Club in 2023. The tournament was first played on the Swedish Golf Tour in 2010. The 2013 event marked the return of the LET to Sweden following a hiatus, after the last installments of the Scandinavian TPC hosted by Annika and the Göteborg Masters were played in 2008. Patricia Isabel Schmidt
Patricia Isabel Schmidt (born 1 September 1995) is a German professional golfer who plays on the Ladies European Tour. She won the 2023 Belgian Ladies Open. Amateur career Schmidt won the 2017 Hetzenhof Open in Baden-Württemberg. In 2018, she finished 3rd at the Luxembourg International Amateur Championship. Professional career Schmidt turned professional in 2021 and joined the LET Access Series. In 2022, she had two runner-up finishes at the Flumserberg Ladies Open and at the Trust Golf Links Series – Musselburgh, before winning the Big Green Egg Swedish Matchplay Championship. The Belgian Ladies Open is a women's professional golf tournament on the Ladies European Tour held in Belgium. The tournament was played annually 1985–1995. The Aramco Team Series is a professional women's golf competition that is part of the Ladies European Tour (LET), first played in 2020. The inaugural tournament was played as the Saudi Ladies Team International at Royal Greens Golf & Country Club in King Abdullah Economic City (KAEC) by the Red Sea in Saudi Arabia. It was the penultimate LET event of the 2020 season and followed the Aramco Saudi Ladies International. 2021 saw the competition expanded to become the Aramco Team Series, with four tournaments to be held in the United Kingdom, the United States, Spain and Saudi Arabia, each with a US$1 million prize fund. Linn Grant
Linn Maria Grant (born 20 June 1999) is a Swedish professional golfer who plays on the LPGA Tour and Ladies European Tour. As an amateur, she won the 2017 Ladies' British Open Amateur Stroke Play Championship and was in contention at the 2018 and 2020 U.S. Women's Open. Family and early years Grant is the grand-daughter of James Grant, a Scottish golf professional who emigrated from Inverness in Scotland to Helsingborg in Sweden. The Grant family has had a fair bit of success on Catriona Matthew's home track, North Berwick Golf Club. The Jabra Ladies Open is a professional golf tournament, introduced on the Ladies European Tour schedule in 2018. Pauline Roussin
Pauline Roussin-Bouchard (born 5 July 2000) is a French professional golfer. She was number one in the World Amateur Golf Ranking for 34 weeks in 2020. Amateur career Roussin represented the French National Team from age 14 and won the 2015 European Young Masters both individually and with her team. She played in two Espirito Santo Trophies (2016 and 2018) and six European Girls' Team Championship and European Ladies' Team Championships, winning silver in 2018.
