2023 Isle Of Man TT
The 2023 Isle of Man TT was held between Monday 29 May and Saturday 10 June, on the Isle of Man TT Mountain Course. The event was marked by the high profile absences of possible podium contenders Lee Johnston and Nathan Harrison due to injury, multiple TT winner Ian Hutchinson due to a stroke, and fastest ever newcomer Glenn Irwin due to personal reasons. This year saw the outright lap record broken again by Peter Hickman achieving on Friday 9th June during the second RL360 Superstock race aboard the Monster Energy by FHO Racing BMW M1000RR. Michael Dunlop saw success during the event by earning 4 victories (Superbike, Supersport 1, Supersport 2, Lightweight 1) putting him at 25 total, one below his uncle Joey Dunlop. Tim Reeves (born 28 August 1972) is an English sidecar racer from Tenterden, Kent. He is an eight times Superside FIM World Sidecar Champion, twice with his younger brother Tristan (2005, 2006), once with Patrick Farrance (2007) and once with Ashley Hawes (2012) as passenger. Conor Cummins (born 27 May 1986, in Douglas, Isle of Man) is a Manx motorcycle road racer who rides in British racing events, competing in the British Superstock Championship, as well as in specialist closed-road events at his home Isle of Man TT races and in Northern Ireland. A part-time seasonal racer, his normal income is derived from his business as a barista. He currently competes aboard a Honda CBR1000RR and a Honda CBR600RR. Michael Karl Rutter (born 18 April 1972 in Wordsley, Staffordshire) nicknamed "The Blade", is a British motorcycle racer. He currently races in the National Superstock 1000 Championship aboard a BMW S1000RR. He has a reputation for being at his best in wet conditions and his favourite circuit is Oulton Park. John Warren McGuinness (16 April 1972) is an English specialist Isle of Man TT professional solo motorcycle rider with 23 wins. Until early 2017 he had a long association with Honda machines having factory support in road races like the Isle of Man TT, the North West 200 and the Macau Grand Prix, and also on the short tracks in the British Superstock and Supersport series.
