2023 FIFA Women's World Cup Group H
Group H of the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup was one of eight groups that form the opening round of the tournament with the matches played from 24 July to 3 August 2023. The group consists of Germany, Morocco, Colombia and South Korea. The top two teams, Colombia and Morocco, advanced to the round of 16. Germany was eliminated in the Women's World Cup group stage for the first time ever, while Morocco advanced to the knockouts in their first Women's World Cup campaign. Colombia advanced to the round of 16 for only second time in their third Women's World Cup; the previous was in 2015, which was also the year South Korea progressed from the group for the only time as of 2023. 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup
The 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup is scheduled to be the ninth edition of the FIFA Women's World Cup competition, the quadrennial international women's football championship contested by the women's national association football teams organised by FIFA. The tournament will be jointly hosted by Australia and New Zealand, the first time that the FIFA Women's World Cup will have two host nations and is scheduled to take place from 20 July to 20 August 2023. This will be the first senior World Cup of either gender to be held between two confederations. In addition, this tournament will be the first to feature the expanded format of 32 teams, from previous 24, replicating the same format used for the men's World Cup. 2022 Copa América Femenina
The 2022 Copa América Femenina was the 9th edition of the main international women's football championship in South America, the Copa América Femenina, for national teams affiliated with CONMEBOL. The competition was held in Colombia from 8 to 30 July 2022. The tournament acted as South American qualification for the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup in Australia and New Zealand, providing three direct qualifying places and two play-off places for the Women's World Cup, and three more places for the 2023 Pan American Games tournament in Santiago (in addition to Chile who qualified automatically as hosts). Melbourne Rectangular Stadium
The Melbourne Rectangular Stadium, known as AAMI Park for sponsorship reasons, is an outdoor sports stadium on the site of Edwin Flack Field in the Sports and Entertainment Precinct in the Melbourne central business district. Lea Schüller (born 12 November 1997) is a German footballer who plays as a forward for Bayern Munich and the German national team. Club career Schüller started playing football at Hülser SV before joining the youth department of SGS Essen in 2012. Group F of the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup was one of eight groups that form the opening round of the tournament with the matches played from 23 July to 2 August 2023. The group consisted of France, Jamaica, Brazil and Panama. The top two teams, France and Jamaica, advanced to the round of 16. Ahead of the tournament, the Brazilian government announced that they would move working hours of the civil service on the days of Brazil's matches in the World Cup, with the working day starting two hours after the scheduled conclusion of games – due to the time difference, Brazil's group matches were all kicked-off at commuter times.
