2023 Cork Premier Junior Football Championship
The 2023 Cork Premier Junior Football Championship was the inaugural staging of the Cork Premier Junior Football Championship. The draw for the group stage placings took place on 11 December 2022. The championship ran from 29 July to 28 October 2023. The final was played on 28 October 2023 at Páirc Uí Chaoimh in Cork, between St Finbarr's and Kilmurry, in what was their first ever meeting in the final. St Finbarr's won the match by 3-06 to 1-11 to claim their first ever championship title in the grade. Cobh's Diarmuid Kearney was the championship's top scorer with 3-13. Ballydesmond GAA
Ballydesmond GAA is a Gaelic Athletic Association club based in Ballydesmond in Cork, Ireland. Its Gaelic Football team participates in competitions organized by Cork GAA, and is a member of Duhallow division. The club is located very close to the border with Kerry and thus is very involved in the intense rivalry between the counties. The club consists of members with allegiances to both counties. Handball is also a prominent sport within the club. The team won the Duhallow Junior A Football Championship in 2007 and subsequently went on to win the Cork Junior County Football Championship that same year. Muskerry GAA is a Gaelic football and hurling division located in the middle region of County Cork, Ireland. It is one of eight divisions of Cork GAA County Board. Ballydesmond (), formerly Kingwilliamstown, is a rural village in County Cork, Ireland. It lies on the Blackwater River (near its source in Menganine) on the Cork-Kerry border.
