2023 Cincinnati Bengals Season
The 2023 season was the Cincinnati Bengals' 54th season in the National Football League (NFL), their 56th overall and their fifth under head coach Zac Taylor. The Bengals failed to improve upon their 12–4 record from 2022 after a 34–20 week 11 loss to the Baltimore Ravens. With a Week 17 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs, the Bengals were eliminated from playoff contention for the first time since 2020. Already struggling to a 5–4 start, the Bengals were dealt a critical blow in week 11 when they lost franchise quarterback Joe Burrow for the season to a wrist injury. Despite this, backup Jake Browning managed to perform above expectations, as the team went 8-6 and was in the playoff picture. However, back to back losses to the Steelers and Chiefs kept the Bengals out of the playoff picture. AFC North
The American Football Conference – Northern Division or AFC North is one of the four divisions of the American Football Conference (AFC) in the National Football League (NFL). The division was adopted after the restructuring of the 2002 NFL season, when the league realigned divisions after expanding to 32 teams. This is the only division in the NFL in which no member team has hosted a Super Bowl in their stadiums. Kevin Huber (born July 16, 1985) is an American football punter who is a free agent. He played college football at Cincinnati, where he was a two-time consensus All-American, before being drafted by the Bengals in the fifth round of the 2009 NFL Draft. Early years Huber was born in Cincinnati, Ohio. He attended Immaculate Heart of Mary in Cincinnati for grade school and then attended Archbishop McNicholas High School in Cincinnati, and played for the McNicholas Rockets high school football team. Samaje Perine ( ; born September 16, 1995) is an American football running back for the Cincinnati Bengals of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Oklahoma Sooners football, Oklahoma, and was drafted by the Washington Redskins in the fourth round of the 2017 NFL Draft. Perine currently holds the NCAA FBS record for most rushing yards in a single game, which he set as a true freshman in 2014 by rushing for 427 yards against Kansas. Hayden Randle Hurst (born August 24, 1993) is an American football tight end for the Carolina Panthers of the National Football League (NFL). The tight end (TE) is a position in American football, arena football, and Canadian football, on the offense. The tight end is often a hybrid position with the characteristics and roles of both an offensive lineman and a wide receiver. The 2023 season was the Miami Dolphins' 54th season in the National Football League (NFL), their 58th overall, their eighth under general manager Chris Grier and their second under head coach Mike McDaniel. A cornerback (CB) is a member of the defensive backfield or secondary in gridiron football. Vonn Christian Bell (born December 12, 1994) is an American football safety for the Cincinnati Bengals of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Ohio State and was drafted by the New Orleans Saints in the second round of the 2016 NFL Draft.
