Kwon Soon-woo defeated Roberto Bautista Agut in the final, 6–4, 3–6, 7–6(7–4) to win the men's singles tennis title at the 2023 Adelaide International 2. It was his second ATP Tour singles title, and he became just the tenth man in ATP Tour history to win a title as a lucky loser. Kwon Soon-woo ( ko, 권순우; born 2 December 1997) is a South Korean professional tennis player. He has been ranked as high as world No. 52 ranking by the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP), which he first achieved in November 2021. He also has a career-high doubles ranking of world No. 227, attained in October 2022. Since turning professional in 2015, Kwon has won two ATP, three ATP Challenger Tour and five ITF World Tennis Tour singles titles.
