2023 ATP Finals – Singles
Defending champion Novak Djokovic defeated Jannik Sinner in the final, 6–3, 6–3 to win the singles tennis title at the 2023 ATP Finals. It was his record-breaking seventh ATP Finals title, surpassing Roger Federer's achievement. Djokovic also surpassed his own record as the oldest singles champion in the tournament's history, at 36 years old, and extended his record of the longest timespan between first and last Tour Finals titles won, at 15 years (the first being in 2008). Djokovic claimed the year-end No. 1 ranking for a record-extending eighth time after winning his first round-robin match; Carlos Alcaraz was also in contention for the year-end top spot. Daniil Sergeyevich Medvedev (russian: Даниил Сергеевич Медведев; born 11 February 1996) is a Russian professional tennis player. He is currently ranked world No. 7 by the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP), and was ranked as the singles world No. 1 for 16 total weeks. Taylor Harry Fritz (born October 28, 1997) is an American professional tennis player. Hubert Hurkacz (; born 11 February 1997) is a Polish professional tennis player. He has been ranked as high as world No. 9 in singles by the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP), which he first achieved in November 2021, making him the highest-ranked Polish man in singles history. 2021 ATP Finals – Singles
Alexander Zverev defeated the defending champion Daniil Medvedev in the final, 6–4, 6–4 to win the Singles title at the 2021 ATP Finals. It was his second ATP Finals title, the first being in 2018. With the win, Zverev ended a six-year streak of different winners at the tournament, extending back to 2015. The ATP Tour is a worldwide top-tier tennis tour for men organized by the Association of Tennis Professionals. The second-tier tour is the ATP Challenger Tour and the third-tier is the ITF Men's World Tennis Tour. The equivalent women's organisation is the WTA Tour.
