2023 ACC Men's Basketball Tournament
The 2023 ACC men's basketball tournament was the postseason men's basketball tournament for the Atlantic Coast Conference held at the Greensboro Coliseum Complex, Greensboro Coliseum in Greensboro, North Carolina, from March 7 to 11, 2023. It was the 70th annual edition of the tournament. The 2022–23 Duke Blue Devils men's basketball team, Duke Blue Devils won the tournament, their twenty-second ACC Tournament title, receiving the conference's automatic bid to the 2023 NCAA Division I men's basketball tournament, 2023 NCAA tournament. The tournament marked the last game of Jim Boeheim's 47 year coaching career at Syracuse. Seeds All 15 ACC teams participated in the tournament. Greensboro Coliseum Complex
The Greensboro Coliseum Complex, commonly referred to as Greensboro Coliseum (the first and biggest building on the site), is an entertainment and sports complex located in Greensboro, North Carolina. Opened in 1959, the complex holds eight venues that includes an amphitheater, arena, aquatic center, banquet hall, convention center, museum, theatre, and an indoor pavilion. It is the home of the UNC Greensboro Spartans men's basketball team, the Greensboro Swarm of the NBA G League, the Carolina Cobras of the National Arena League, as well as the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) with their Men's and Women's basketball tournaments. The 2022–23 Syracuse Orange men's basketball team represented Syracuse University during the 2022–23 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Orange were led by 47th-year head coach Jim Boeheim and played their home games at JMA Wireless Dome in Syracuse, New York as tenth-year members of the Atlantic Coast Conference. The Orange finished the season 17–15, 10–10 in ACC play to finish in a tie for eighth place. As the eighth seed in the ACC tournament, the lost to Wake Forest in the second round. Caleb Khristopher Love (born September 27, 2001) is an American college basketball player for the Arizona Wildcats of the Pac-12 Conference. He spent his first three seasons at North Carolina, where he was a starter and key piece of the team's 2022 Final Four run. High school career Love attended Christian Brothers College High School in St. Louis, Missouri, and was coached by Justin Tatum, father of NBA player Jayson Tatum. He averaged 18.9 points and 4.3 rebounds per game as a junior as he transitioned to point guard. He led the school to the Class 5 runner-up to Rock Bridge High School. Love scored a career-high 42 points against East St. Louis High School as a senior and also scored 40 points against Cardinal Ritter High School. Blake D. Hinson (born December 26, 1999) is an American college basketball player for the Pittsburgh Panthers of the Atlantic Coast Conference. Early life and high school Hinson grew up in Deltona, Florida and initially attended Deltona High School. Judah Jah Leone Mintz (born July 10, 2003) is an American basketball player. He played college basketball for the Syracuse Orange. Early life and high school career Mintz grew up in Fort Washington, Maryland and initially attended Gonzaga College High School. He averaged nine points per game as a sophomore.
