2022–23 World Rugby Women's Sevens Series
The 2022–23 World Rugby Women's Sevens Series was the tenth edition of the global circuit for women's national rugby sevens teams, organised by World Rugby. New Zealand won the series at the last event in Toulouse, taking out six of the seven events on the tour to claim their seventh World Series title with Australia and the United States placing second and third, respectively. The series doubled as a qualifier for the 2024 Olympic Sevens, so those three teams along with host country France, who finished fourth in the series, and Ireland, who finished fifth, all gained direct qualifying berths for the women's tournament held in Paris the following year. Maddison Levi
Maddison Levi (born 27 April 2002) is an Australian rules footballer and rugby sevens player currently playing for Gold Coast in the AFL Women's competition (AFLW) and Australia women's sevens team. Early life Levi grew up on the Gold Coast and attended Miami State High School throughout her upbringing where she was a member of their Rugby Sevens Excellence Program. An accomplished junior rugby player, she represented Queensland as well as Australia in junior competitions and was named player of the tournament in the under-17 Youth Rugby Sevens National Championships. In 2018 Levi was asked to play Australian rules football for the first time with Miami High's AFLQ Schools Cup team and went on to play a pivotal role in the school's state championship win that year. FMG Stadium Waikato is a major sporting and cultural events venue in Hamilton, New Zealand, with a total capacity of 25,800. The Stade Ernest-Wallon (; oc, Estadi Ernest-Wallon, italic=no; ) is a multi-purpose stadium located in the Sept Deniers district of Toulouse, in southwestern France. Described as a "temple to the oval ball", it is the home ground for the rugby union club Stade Toulousain and the rugby league club Toulouse Olympique. Hong Kong Stadium is the main sports venue of Hong Kong. Redeveloped from the old Government Stadium, it reopened as Hong Kong Stadium in March 1994.
