2022–23 Women's EHF European League
The 2022–23 Women's EHF European League was the 42nd edition of EHF's second-tier women's handball competition, running from 8 October 2022 to 14 May 2023. SG BBM Bietigheim were the defending champions. Overview Team allocation Round and draw dates The schedule of the competition was as follows (all draws were held at the EHF headquarters in Vienna, Austria). Qualification stage Round 2 There were 18 teams participating in round 2. The first legs were played on 8–9 October and the second legs were played on 15–16 October 2022. Round 3 There were 24 teams participating in round 3. The first legs were played on 3–4 December and the second legs were played on 10–11 December 2022. Group stage The draw for the group phase was held on Thursday, 15 December 2022. In each group, teams played against each other in a double round-robin format, with home and away matches. Women's EHF European League
The Women's EHF European League is an annual competition for women's handball clubs of Europe. It is organized by the EHF. It is currently the second-tier competition of European club handball, ranking only below the EHF Champions League. Previously called the Women's EHF Cup, the competition will be known as the Women's EHF European League from the 2020–21 season. History The first edition took place in 1981. It was called the IHF Cup until 1993. From the 2016–17 season, the competition merged with the EHF Cup Winners' Cup. Höörs HK H 65 is a Swedish women's handball club from Höör established in 1965, competing in the Swedish women's handball league, Handbollsligan, since 2011. In 2014 the team won the 2013–14 EHF Challenge Cup. History In 2011–2012, the team accessed to the Elitserien, the highest level in Sweden. In 2012–2013, the team takes part to the playoffs, eliminated by IK Sävehof in semifinals.
