The 2023–24 season was the 74th season in the history of Olympique Lyonnais and their 35th consecutive season in the top flight. The club participated in Ligue 1 and the Coupe de France, reaching the final of the latter competition. This season was Lyon's first ever season under the ownership and presidency of American businessman John Textor, who replaced Jean-Michel Aulas to become the new president, ending Aulas' three-decade rule in the club. Stade Malherbe Caen (; commonly known as SM Caen, SMC, or simply Caen) is a French professional football team, based in the city of Caen in Normandy, that competes in the Ligue 2.
