2022–23 Oklahoma City Thunder Season
The 2022–23 Oklahoma City Thunder season is the 15th season of the franchise in Oklahoma City and the 57th in the National Basketball Association (NBA). Previous season The Thunder finished the 2021–22 season 24–58 to finish in fifth place in the Northwest Division, fourteenth in the Western Conference and failed to qualify for the playoffs. This marks the second consecutive season that the Thunder failed to qualify for the playoffs since moving to Oklahoma City. In their second year of the rebuild, the Thunder started the season with 10 players aged 23 years or under. Throughout the season, the Thunder had numerous injuries to Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Luguentz Dort, Josh Giddey, and Kenrich Williams. Mark Daigneault
Mark Daigneault (pronounced ''DAYG-nolt''; born February 23, 1985) is an American professional basketball coach and head coach for the Oklahoma City Thunder of the National Basketball Association (NBA). Coaching career Daigneault began his coaching career as a student manager at UConn from 2003 to 2007 under Jim Calhoun. After earning his bachelor's degree in education, Daigneault initially intended to go for a master's degree, but was urged by Calhoun and associate head coach George Blaney to pursue an assistant coaching role at Holy Cross and offered strong recommendations. Joshua Giddey (born 10 October, 2002) is an Australian professional basketball player for the Oklahoma City Thunder of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He was selected by the Thunder with the sixth overall pick in the 2021 NBA draft. Giddey is the youngest player in NBA history to record a triple-double, having done so at 19 years, 84 days old. Santa Clara Broncos Men's Basketball
The Santa Clara Broncos men's basketball team represents Santa Clara University in NCAA Division I basketball competition. The team plays home games at the Leavey Center in Santa Clara, California and have been members of the West Coast Conference since its formation in 1952. The team is currently coached by Herb Sendek, who had previously been the head coach at NC State and Arizona State. Sendek was hired on March 29, 2016. Jalen Devonn Williams (born April 14, 2001), also known by his nickname J-Dub, is an American professional basketball player for the Oklahoma City Thunder of the National Basketball Association (NBA). The Gonzaga Bulldogs are an intercollegiate men's basketball program representing Gonzaga University.
