2022–23 Football Superleague Of Kosovo
The 2022–23 Football Superleague of Kosovo season, also known as the ALBI MALL Superleague of Kosovo ( sq, ALBI MALL Superliga e Kosovës) for sponsorship reasons with Albi Mall is the 24th season of top-tier football in Kosovo. The season began on 13 August 2022 and ended on 28 May 2023. A total of ten teams are competing in the league: eight teams from the 2021–22 season and two teams from the 2021–22 First Football League of Kosovo. Ballkani are the defending champions from the previous season. Teams Ten teаms will compete in the leаgue – the top eight teаms from the previous season and the two teams promoted from the Kosovo First League. The promoted teаms are Trepça '89 and Ferizaj. The Football Superleague of Kosovo ( sq, Superliga e Futbollit të Kosovës), also known as the ALBI MALL Superleague of Kosovo ( sq, ALBI MALL Superliga e Kosovës) for sponsorship reasons with Albi Mall, is the top level of the Kosovar football league system. The Superleague is organized by the Football Federation of Kosovo and the division currently has a 10-team format. The clubs play each other four times during the season for a 36-match schedule. At the end of the season, the bottom two teams in the division are relegated to the second tier, First Football League of Kosovo. The Superleague ran outside FIFA and UEFA until Kosovo was admitted to both organizations, on 3 May 2016. Klubi Futbollistik Llapi (), commonly known as Llapi, is a professional football club based in Podujevë, Kosovo. The club play in the Football Superleague of Kosovo, which is the top tier of football in the country. History KF Llapi was founded on 5 July 1932, becoming the oldest club in Podujevë. Klina
Klina ( sq-definite, Klinë; Serbian Cyrillic: ) is a town and municipality located in the District of Peja of north-western Kosovo. According to the 2011 census, the town of Klina has 5,542 inhabitants, while the municipality has 38,496 inhabitants. It is located at the confluence of the river Klina into the White Drin. () is an ultras group in Gjilan, Kosovo. Founded in January, 1998, Intelektualët are the one of the major football fan groups in Kosovo and one of the largest in Southeast Europe. One thing that distinguishes this group is that they support all sports clubs named Drita in Gjilan. History Drita in the 1997–98 championship was great wherever in Kosovo and in many sporting games. In the Kosovo Derby the board succumbed and after many debates the name Intelektualët (Intellectuals) was assigned because most of the players except they played were also writers, poets, politicians and so on. The Intellectuals are the biggest ultras group in Kosovo, with many transfers outside Gjilan. Gjilan City Stadium
The Gjilan City Stadium ( sq, Stadiumi i Qytetit të Gjilanit) is a football stadium in Gjilan, Kosovo. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home ground of SC Gjilani and FC Drita of the Football Superleague of Kosovo. The stadium was completed in 1967 but since 2017 is in Re-Construction project. The stadium holds less than 15,000 people. The Bajram Aliu is a multi-use stadium in Skenderaj, Kosovo. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home ground of Drenica of the Kosovar Superliga. The stadium holds 9,000 people. It was built prior to the Kosovo War. The Football Federation of Kosovo ( sq, Federata e Futbollit e Kosovës; FFK) is the governing body of football in Kosovo, with headquarters in Pristina.
