2022–23 BCL Americas
The 2022–23 Basketball Champions League Americas season is the 4th of the Basketball Champions League Americas (BCLA) season and the 16th edition of the top-tier level professional club basketball competition in the Americas. São Paulo were the defending champions, but they did not qualify for the tournament and thus are unable to defend their title. 2021–22 BCL Americas
The 2021–22 Basketball Champions League Americas season was the 15h edition of the top-tier level professional club basketball competition in the Americas and the 3rd of the Basketball Champions League Americas (BCLA), since launched by FIBA in 2019. The season concluded with the Final Eight at the Carioca Arena 1 in Rio de Janeiro. São Paulo won its first continental title after defeating Biguá 98–84 in the championship game. Team allocation On 29 September 2021, FIBA announced the 12 teams from 7 countries to play in the 2021–22 BCLA season. Quimsa
Asociación Atlética Quimsa, usually called simply Quimsa, is an Argentine sports club located in the city of Santiago del Estero in the homonymous province. The club's professional basketball team plays in the Liga Nacional de Básquet (LNB), the top division of Argentine basketball, and Pan-America's premier men's basketball league, the Basketball Champions League Americas. Basketball Champions League Americas Seasons
Basketball is a team sport in which two teams, most commonly of five players each, opposing one another on a rectangular court, compete with the primary objective of shooting a basketball (approximately in diameter) through the defender's hoop (a basket in diameter mounted high to a backboard at each end of the court, while preventing the opposing team from shooting through their own hoop. Minas Tênis Clube, commonly known simply as Minas or the Minas Storm, is a Brazilian basketball club based in Belo Horizonte. It is part of the Minas Tênis Clube multi-sports club. 2022 CEBL Season
The 2022 CEBL season was the fourth season of the Canadian Elite Basketball League (CEBL). It began on May 25, 2022, and ended on August 1, 2022. There will be play-in games on August 4 where the 5th to 8th seed will compete to play in the playoffs. The playoffs will start on August 6. The Championship weekend will be from August 12 to the 14; the Ottawa Blackjacks will be hosting the event. It is also the inaugural season for the Montreal Alliance, Newfoundland Growlers, and the Scarborough Shooting Stars. The Hamilton Honey Badgers defeated the Scarborough Shooting Stars 90–88, for their first CEBL championship in franchise history. They will represent Canada in the 2022-23 BCL Americas season. The Brampton Honey Badgers are a Canadian professional basketball team based in Brampton, Ontario, that competes in the Canadian Elite Basketball League. They play their games at the CAA Centre. The team was founded in 2018 as the Hamilton Honey Badgers and played at the FirstOntario Centre in Hamilton, Ontario from their inaugural season in 2019 until 2022. Club Atlético Peñarol Basketball, commonly known as simply Peñarol, is the senior men's basketball section of the Uruguayan sports club Peñarol, based in Montevideo.
