2022 UNLV Rebels Football Team
The 2022 UNLV Rebels football team represented the University of Nevada, Las Vegas as a member of the Mountain West Conference during the 2022 NCAA Division I FBS football season. They are led by head coach Marcus Arroyo, who is in his third season with the team. The Rebels will play their home games at Allegiant Stadium in Paradise, Nevada. On November 28, following a 5-7 season, Arroyo was fired. During his three seasons as UNLV's head coach, he went 7-23. On December 6, 2022 the Las Vegas Review-Journal reported that Arkansas defensive coordinator Barry Odom would be named the new head coach at UNLV. On December 15, 2022, UNLV announced that Odom had hired Bobby Petrino as his offensive coordinator. Marcus Arroyo
Marcus Cole Arroyo (born January 23, 1980) is an American football coach and former plauer. He served as the head football coach at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) from 2020 to 2022. Arroyo played college football as quarterback at San Jose State University. From 2004 to 2019, Arroyo was an assistant coach, most recently at the University of Oregon as offensive coordinator from 2017 to 2019. Playing career After graduating from Colfax High School in Colfax, California, Arroyo was the starting quarterback for the San Jose State Spartans from 1998 to 2002. He set many school records for passing, some of which are still unsurpassed. To this day, Arroyo ranks eighth in passing yards (4,603), ninth in completions (348) and total offense (4,525 yards), and tenth in passing efficiency (115.6). The 2022 Air Force Falcons football team represented the United States Air Force Academy in the 2022 NCAA Division I FBS football season. The season was the team's 68th overall, 24th as a member of the Mountain West Conference, and 9th in the Mountain West's Mountain Division. Logan is a city in Cache County, Utah, United States. The 2020 census recorded the population was 52,778.
