Vélodrome National
The Vélodrome National de Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines is a velodrome in Montigny-le-Bretonneux, France. It was built between 2011 and 2014 and hosted the 2015 UCI Track Cycling World Championships and 2016 UEC European Track Championships. It will host the cycling venue in the 2024 Summer Olympics. Michael Mørkøv
Michael Mørkøv Christensen (; born 30 April 1985) is a Danish professional racing cyclist, who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam . He is the brother of racing cyclists Jacob and Jesper Mørkøv. Career Born in Kokkedal, Mørkøv started as a track cyclist, becoming national champion in the points race in 2004. In the 2008 Olympic games, he won the silver medal in the team pursuit. As a road cyclist, Mørkøv became national time trial champion in 2005. Mørkøv rode the 2010 and 2011 Giro d'Italia, finishing both. Samuel Welsford
Sam Welsford (born 19 January 1996) is an Australian professional racing cyclist. Welsford qualified for the Tokyo 2020 Olympics and was part of the Men's team pursuit together with Kelland O'Brien, Leigh Howard and Alexander Porter. They secured a bronze medal after overlapping New Zealand who had crashed. Welsford also competed in the Men's Madison where the team finished fifth with a time of 3:48.448 and therefore did not qualify for the final. Biography Welsford's father was a keen cyclist, and Sam began joining him on rides when he was seven. Welsford worked hard at his cycling and won team pursuit junior world titles in 2013 and 2014.
