2022 The Women's Cup
The 2022 The Women's Cup was the second edition of The Women's Cup, a friendly invitational tournament of women's soccer matches. It was hosted at Lynn Family Stadium in Louisville, Kentucky, United States, from August 14 to 20, 2022. The field expanded from four teams in 2021 to six. OL Reign won by defeating defending champions and hosts Racing Louisville FC 2–1. History Launched by OnSide Entertainment, FXE Futbol, and Agrinzonis Management Group in 2021, it currently features six North American, European, and Asian women's soccer teams competing for the championship. , the absence of a FIFA-organized club world championship similar to the men's FIFA Club World Cup, opens the door for invitational tournaments like The Women's Cup and the Women's International Champions Cup to provide opportunities for prominent women's club teams from different confederations to compete against one another and can be seen as stepping stones for the formation of a Women's Club World Cup. The Serie A (), also called Serie A Femminile TIM due to sponsorship by TIM, is the highest league of women's football in Italy. Established in 1968, it has been run by the Italian Football Federation (FIGC) since the 2018–19 season, and currently features 10 teams. is a Japanese Association football, football player. She played for Nippon TV Tokyo Verdy Beleza, Tokyo Verdy Beleza in the WE League.
