The 2022 Supercopa do Brasil (officially the Supercopa Kia 2022 for sponsorship reasons) was the fifth edition of Supercopa do Brasil, an annual football match played between the champions of the Campeonato Brasileiro Série A and Copa do Brasil. The match was played on 20 February 2022 between Clube Atlético Mineiro, Atlético Mineiro, winners of the 2021 Campeonato Brasileiro Série A and the 2021 Copa do Brasil and Clube de Regatas do Flamengo, Flamengo, runners-up of the 2021 Campeonato Brasileiro Série A. On 26 January 2022, the Federação de Futebol do Distrito Federal announced that the match would be hosted at Estádio Nacional Mané Garrincha, Arena BRB Mané Garrincha in Brasília, however one day later the Governo do Federal District (Brazil), Distrito Federal banned fans from venues in the state following the spread of the COVID-19. Cláudio Rodrigues Gomes (born 29 August 1998), commonly known as Guga, is a Brazilian footballer who plays for Fluminense as a right back. 2020 Supercopa Do Brasil
The 2020 Supercopa do Brasil was the 3rd Supercopa do Brasil, an annual football match played between the champions of the 2019 Campeonato Brasileiro Série A and 2019 Copa do Brasil. The 2020 edition marked the return of the tournament, which since 1991 was not disputed. The match was played at the Estádio Nacional Mané Garrincha in Brasília on 16 February 2020. Clube de Regatas do Flamengo, Flamengo and Club Athletico Paranaense, Athletico Paranaense qualified after winning the 2019 Campeonato Brasileiro Série A tournament and the 2019 Copa do Brasil, respectively.
