2022 Spanish Motorcycle Grand Prix
The 2022 Spanish motorcycle Grand Prix (officially known as the Gran Premio Red Bull de España) was the sixth round of the 2022 Grand Prix motorcycle racing season and the first round of the 2022 MotoE World Cup. All races (except MotoE race 1, which was held on 30 April) were held at the Circuito de Jerez-Ángel Nieto in Jerez de la Frontera on 1 May 2022. Gas Gas is a Spanish motorcycle manufacturer established in 1985 by Narcìs Casas and Josep Pibernat in Salt, Girona. The company specializes in off-road motorcycles for trials and enduro competitions. Gas Gas was purchased by KTM motorcycles in 2019. Lorenzo Savadori (born 4 April 1993) is a motorcycle racer from Italy, He was the 2015 FIM Superstock 1000 Cup winner and thItalia 2020 CIV Superbike Champion acting as test rider for Aprilia with occasional wild card race entries. The 2022 MotoE World Cup (known officially as the 2022 FIM Enel MotoE World Cup for sponsorship reasons) will be the fourth season of the MotoE World Cup for electric motorcycle racing, and is part of the 74th F.I.M. Grand Prix motorcycle racing season. This will be the last season of Energica being the sole supplier of the World Cup as they will withdraw from the Cup after the season, with Ducati expected to take their place as the new sole manufacturer starting 2023. 2022 Grand Prix Motorcycle Racing Season
The 2022 FIM MotoGP World Championship was the premier class of the 74th F.I.M. Road Racing World Championship season. Fabio Quartararo came into the season as the defending World Champion.
