2022 Silicon Valley Classic
The 2022 Silicon Valley Classic (also known as the Mubadala Silicon Valley Classic for sponsorship reasons) was a professional tennis tournament played on hard courts. It was the 50th edition of the tournament, and part of the WTA Premier tournaments of the 2022 WTA Tour. It took place between 1 and 7 August 2022 in San Jose, California. She is a two-time Grand Slam champion in women's doubles, having won the 2019 Australian Open and the 2021 US Open, both alongside Samantha Stosur. Caroline Dolehide ( ; born September 5, 1998) is an American professional tennis player. She achieved a career-high ranking of world No. 102 in July 2018. Her best performances on the WTA Tour came in doubles at the 2019 and the 2022 US Opens where she reached the semifinals with Vania King and Storm Sanders respectively and also at the 2021 Wimbledon. Taylor Townsend (born April 16, 1996) is an American professional tennis player. She reached career-high WTA rankings of world No. 61 in singles (July 2018) and No. 31 in doubles (December 2022). Kayla Day (born September 28, 1999) is an American professional tennis player. She has a career-high ranking of No. 122 by the Women's Tennis Association (WTA). Katie Boulter (born 1 August 1996) is a British tennis player. Boulter, from Woodhouse Eaves, Leicestershire, has won six singles titles and four doubles titles on the ITF Women's Circuit.
