2022 Rome EPrix
The 2022 Rome ePrix was a pair of Formula E electric car races held at the Circuito Cittadino dell'EUR in the EUR residential and business district of the Italian capital of Rome on 9 and 10 April 2022. It served as the fourth and fifth rounds of the 2021–22 Formula E season, and marked the fourth edition of the event. Mitch Evans gained a total of 11 positions across the two races to claim double victory, with Robin Frijns and Stoffel Vandoorne following through in race one and Jean-Éric Vergne and Frijns completing the podium in race two. Daniel Charles Anthony Ticktum (born 8 June 1999) is a British racing driver currently racing with the NIO 333 FE Team in the Formula E World Championship. Ticktum became a member of the Red Bull Junior Team in 2017. During his time with Red Bull, Ticktum won the Macau Grand Prix in 2017 and 2018, and was runner-up in the 2018 FIA Formula 3 European Championship. Alexander Sims (born 15 March 1988, in London) is a British professional racing driver, currently competing in the ABB FIA Formula E Championship for Mahindra Racing. Previously Sims has driven for BMW i Andretti Motorsport for two years, winning one race in Saudi Arabia. Oliver Clark Askew (born December 12, 1996) is an American-Swedish race car driver who races under the American flag. He previously competed in the Formula E World Championship for Avalanche Andretti Formula E. He is the 2019 Indy Lights champion. Sébastien Olivier Buemi (born 31 October 1988) is a Swiss professional racing driver, who competes in the FIA Formula E Championship for Envision Racing. Pascal Wehrlein (born 18 October 1994) is a German-Mauritian racing driver for the Porsche Formula E Team. He previously raced in Formula One for the Sauber and Manor teams.
