2022 NC State Wolfpack Football Team
The 2022 NC State Wolfpack football team represented North Carolina State University during the 2022 NCAA Division I FBS football season. The Wolfpack played their home games at Carter–Finley Stadium in Raleigh, North Carolina, and competed as members of the Atlantic Coast Conference. They were led by head coach Dave Doeren, in his 10th season. Previous season The Wolfpack finished the 2021 season 9–3, 6–2 in ACC play to finish tied for second place in the Atlantic Division. They received an invitation to the Holiday Bowl where they were scheduled to play UCLA. However, the game was canceled due to COVID-19 issues within the Bruins program. Tanner Ingle (born October 29, 1999) is an American football safety for the Los Angeles Rams of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at NC State. Early years Ingle grew up in Orlando, Florida and attended Dr. Phillips High School. In his high school career, he racked up nine interceptions and nine touchdowns. Aydan White
Aydan White is an American football cornerback who most recently played for the NC State Wolfpack. Early life and high school career White was born in Asheville, North Carolina. His father PJ, was a star wide receiver at Asheville High School. White attended Christ School, a private boarding school in Western North Carolina. White played both receiver and corner in high school, recording 60 catches for over 1,000 yards as a junior but was primarily recruited as a corner. In addition to playing football, White also ran track, winning three state titles in the 110-meter hurdles. Christopher Dunn (born February 19, 1998) is an American football placekicker who is a free agent. He played college football at N.C. State. Early life and high school Dunn grew up in Lexington, North Carolina and attended North Davidson High School. Chandler Zavala (born April 2, 1999) is an American football guard for the Carolina Panthers of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Fairmont State and NC State. Thayer Thomas (born May 20, 1998) is an American football wide receiver for the Minnesota Vikings of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at NC State.
