2022 MotoE World Cup
The 2022 MotoE World Cup (known officially as the 2022 FIM Enel MotoE World Cup for sponsorship reasons) will be the fourth season of the MotoE World Cup for electric motorcycle racing, and is part of the 74th F.I.M. Grand Prix motorcycle racing season. This will be the last season of Energica being the sole supplier of the World Cup as they will withdraw from the Cup after the season, with Ducati expected to take their place as the new sole manufacturer starting 2023. Teams and riders All teams use the series-specified Energica Ego Corsa. Rider changes * Mattia Casadei will join HP Pons 40, replacing Jasper Iwema. * Eric Granado will join LCR E-Team, replacing Kevin Zannoni. * Héctor Garzó will move back to MotoE after racing in Moto2 in . The Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme (FIM; en, International Motorcycling Federation) is the global governing/sanctioning body of motorcycle racing. It represents 116 national motorcycle federations that are divided into six regional continental unions. There are seven motorcycle-racing disciplines that FIM covers, encompassing 82 world championships as well as hundreds of secondary championships: enduro, trial, circuit racing, motocross and supermoto, cross-country, e-bike, and track racing. FIM is also involved in many non-racing activities that promote the sport, its safety, and support relevant public policy. Gresini Racing is a motorcycle racing team competing in the MotoGP World Championship under the name Gresini Racing MotoGP as a Ducati satellite team, in the Moto2 World Championship as Team Gresini Moto2, and the MotoE World Cup as Felo Gresini MotoE. María Herrera Muñoz (born 26 August 1996) is a Spanish motorcycle racer. Career Early career Born in Oropesa, Toledo, Herrera was the first female competitor to win a race in the FIM CEV Repsol series, winning the Moto3 race at Motorland Aragón for the Junior Team Estrella Galicia 0,0 squad in 2013. She added a second victory later in the season at Circuito de Navarra, and led the championship into the final round at Jerez. Ultimately, Herrera retired from the final race, and finished fourth in the championship, thirteen points behind champion Fabio Quartararo. Herrera was joined by Quartararo at the Junior Team Estrella Galicia 0,0 squad for the 2014 season. Aspar Team (formerly Ángel Nieto Team) is a Grand Prix motorcycle racing team from Spain, competing in the Moto2, Moto3 and MotoE World Championships. History The team was created by former world champion Jorge Martínez in 1992, when he was still riding a Honda RS125R. For 1993 Martínez expanded his operations into the 250cc class debuting with Juan Borja. For the next two seasons the Aspar team switched to Yamaha TZ125 bikes leaving the 250cc division.
