The 9th Annual MTV MIAW Awards took place on July 10, 2022, at the Pepsi Center WTC in Mexico City. They were broadcast live by MTV Latin America. The awards celebrated the best of Latin music and the digital world of the millennial generation Millennials, also known as Generation Y or Gen Y, are the Western demographic cohort following Generation X and preceding Generation Z. Moderatto is a Mexican rock band from Mexico City, known for their exaggerated on-stage personae that parody the stereotypical 1980s glam metal lifestyle.
