2022 Lucas Oil 150
The 2022 Lucas Oil 150 was the 23rd and final stock car race of the 2022 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series season, the Championship 4 race, and the 24th iteration of the event. The race was held on Friday, November 4, 2022, in Avondale, Arizona at Phoenix Raceway, a permanent tri-oval shaped racetrack. The race was increased from 150 laps to 154 laps, due to a NASCAR overtime finish. Zane Smith, driving for Front Row Motorsports, would put on a dominating performance, leading 77 laps to earn his seventh career NASCAR Camping World Truck Series win, and his fourth of the season. By winning the race, Smith would also claim the 2022 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series championship, finishing just in front of Ben Rhodes and Chandler Smith in a 1-2-3 finish. Phoenix Raceway is a 1-mile, low-banked tri-oval race track located in Avondale, Arizona, near Phoenix. The motorsport track opened in 1964 and currently hosts two NASCAR race weekends annually including the final championship race since 2020. Phoenix Raceway has also hosted the CART, IndyCar Series, USAC and the WeatherTech SportsCar Championship. The raceway is currently owned and operated by NASCAR. 2021 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series
The 2021 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series was the 27th season of the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, a stock car racing series sanctioned by NASCAR in the United States. The season began at Daytona International Speedway with the NextEra Energy 250 on February 12. The regular season will end with the race at Watkins Glen International on August 7. Tyler B. Majeski (born August 18, 1994) is an American professional stock car racing driver who mainly competes in late model racing. He competes full-time in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, driving the No. 66 Ford F-150 for ThorSport Racing, who he also works for as an engineer. He has competed in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, ARCA Menards Series, and ARCA Menards Series West in the past. Majeski is a member of the 2016 NASCAR Next class, and was previously a development driver for Roush Fenway Racing. NASCAR Championship Weekend
Since 2002, NASCAR's top three racing series have closed their season with a weekend designed to crown each series' champion, officially known as NASCAR Championship Weekend. From 2002 until 2019, the final race weekend of the season was run at Homestead-Miami Speedway in Homestead, Florida. Ford Motor Company became the title sponsor for all three races, and the weekend became known as Ford Championship Weekend. Champ Car
Champ Car World Series (CCWS) was the series sanctioned by Open-Wheel Racing Series Inc., or Champ Car, a sanctioning body for American open-wheel car racing that operated from 2004 to 2008. It was the successor to Championship Auto Racing Teams (CART), which sanctioned the 'PPG Indy Car World Series from 1979 until dissolving after the 2003 season.
