2022 LBL Play-offs
The 2022 LBL Play-offs was the tournament to determine the Latvian Basketball League champions for the 2021–22 season. All participating teams spent the regular season in Latvian-Estonian Basketball League, with the top six Latvian teams advancing to the LBL play-offs. The play-offs began on 13 April. BK VEF Rīga
VEF Rīga is a Latvian professional basketball team that is based in Riga, Latvia. VEF Rīga is a nine-time Latvian Basketball League champion. History Early years The club name VEF came from the radio manufacturing company VEF which created the basketball club in 1958. Jānis Gailītis (born 23 April 1985) is a Latvian former professional basketball player and professional basketball coach, who is currently a head coach for VEF Rīga, and an assistant for Luca Banchi in Latvian National Team. Artūrs Visockis-Rubenis (born August 11, 1985) is a Latvian professional basketball coach, who is currently a head coach for BK Liepāja, and an assistant for Luca Banchi in Latvian National Team.
