The 2022 German motorcycle Grand Prix (officially known as the Liqui Moly Motorrad Grand Prix Deutschland) was the tenth round of the 2022 Grand Prix motorcycle racing season. It was held at the Sachsenring in Hohenstein-Ernstthal on 19 June 2022. Race MotoGP * Álex Rins withdrew from the event due to the effects of a shoulder injury suffered at the previous round in Barcelona. Liqui Moly GmbH is a German company specializing in oils, lubricants and additives. As of January 1, 2018, Liqui Moly is part of the Würth Group which bought the remaining shares of the previous majority holder and CEO Ernst Prost. He now is the managing director of Liqui Moly, together with Günter Hiermaier. Founding Liqui Moly GmbH was founded in 1957 in Ulm on the river Danube. The patent for production of molybdenum disulfide (MoS2) formed the basis for the company. Dennis Foggia
Dennis Foggia (born 7 January 2001) is an Italian motorcycle rider who is scheduled to compete in the 2023 Moto2 World Championship, riding for Italtrans Racing Team. He previously competed in Moto3, becoming the 2021 runner-up. Career Early career Foggia made his debut in motorcycle racing at age 15, during the 2016 FIM CEV Moto3 Junior World Championship, riding for the VR46 Riders Academy team, along with Celestino Vietti. In his first ever race, the opening round at Valencia, he finished in second place, and was a regular points scorer throughout the year, finishing 7th in the standings with 79 points, and grabbing a third place podium in the final race of the season, also at Valencia. For the 2017 season, Foggia stayed with the VR46 Academy team, and dominated the season. Raúl Fernández (motorcyclist)
Raúl Fernández González (born 23 October 2000) is a Spanish Grand Prix motorcycle racer competing in the MotoGP World Championship with RNF MotoGP Team. His younger brother, Adrián, is also a motorcycle racer. They are not related to Moto2 rider Augusto Fernández. He was 2018 FIM CEV Moto3 Junior World Champion. Marco Bezzecchi
Marco Bezzecchi (born 12 November 1998) is an Italian Grand Prix motorcycle racer, competing for Mooney VR46 Racing Team in the 2023 MotoGP World Championship. Career Junior career Bezzecchi won the Italian Moto3 championship in 2015, and also made his debut in the 2015 FIM CEV Moto3 Junior World Championship that season. He ended the year 16th in the standings, with 29 points, finishing in the top-10 on three occasions. Enea Bastianini (born 30 December 1997), nicknamed "La Bestia" (The Beast), is an Italian Grand Prix motorcycle racer, riding for Ducati Lenovo Team in the MotoGP class.
