2022 Filmfare OTT Awards
2022 Filmfare OTT Awards, the third edition of awards were presented to honour artistic and technical excellence in original programming on over-the-top streaming media in Hindi-language. Web original shows or films released across OTT platforms between 1 August 2021 and 31 July 2022 were eligible for Awards. Nominations were announced by '' Filmfare'' on 14 December 2022. Hosted by Gauahar Khan and Maniesh Paul, the ceremony was held on 21 December 2022 in Mumbai. Biographical television series, '' Rocket Boys'' won the best drama series award and Social comedy film, '' Dasvi'' won the best film – (Web Originals) award. ''Dasvi'' () is a 2022 Indian Hindi-language social comedy film directed by debutante Tushar Jalota and produced by Dinesh Vijan under his banner Maddock Films in collaboration with Jio Studios as well as Shobhna Yadav and Sandeep Leyzell under Bake My Cake Films. It stars Abhishek Bachchan, Yami Gautam and Nimrat Kaur. Bachchan plays the role of an uneducated politician, with Gautam as an IPS officer. The film premiered on Netflix and JioCinema on 7 April 2022. Famous poet and politician Dr. Kumar Vishwas served as the script and dialogue consultant. The film received mixed reviews with praise for its storyline, humour, performances and social message but criticism for its inconsistency in its screenplay. ''Filmfare'' is an Indian English language, English-language fortnightly magazine published by Worldwide Media. Acknowledged as one of Indian most popular entertainment magazines, it publishes pieces involving news, interviews, photos, videos, reviews, events, and style.
