The 2022 EuroCup Basketball Playoffs began on 19 April with the eighthfinals and ended on 11 May 2022 with the final at the Virtus Segafredo Arena in Bologna, Italy, to decide the champions of the 2021–22 EuroCup Basketball. A total of 16 teams competed in the playoffs. Times are CEST, as listed by Euroleague Basketball (local times, if different, are in parentheses). Format In the playoffs, teams played against each other in a single-game format. The higher ranked regular season team in each matchup enjoyed home court advantage. 2022 EuroCup Final
The 2022 EuroCup Final was the final match of the 2021–22 EuroCup Basketball, the 20th season of Euroleague Basketball's secondary level professional club basketball tournament, and the 14th season since it was renamed from the ULEB Cup to the EuroCup. It was played at the Virtus Segafredo Arena in Bologna, Italy, on 11 May 2022, between Italian club Virtus Segafredo Bologna and Turkish club Frutti Extra Bursaspor. Virtus Segafredo Bologna defeated Frutti Extra Bursaspor 80–67 to conquer their 1st EuroCup title and earned the right to play in the 2022–23 EuroLeague. Virtus Segafredo Bologna also became the first Italian team to win the EuroCup. Ante Tomić (born 17 February 1987) is a Croatian professional basketball player who plays for Joventut Badalona of the Spanish Liga ACB.
