The 2022 Delray Beach Open (officially known as 2022 Delray Beach Open by VITACOST.com for sponsorship reasons) was a professional men's tennis tournament played on hard courts. It was the 30th edition of the tournament, and it was part of the 2022 ATP Tour. It took place in Delray Beach, United States between February 14 and February 20, 2022. Hardcourt
A hardcourt (or hard court) is a surface or floor on which a sport is played, most usually in reference to tennis courts. It is typically made of rigid materials such as asphalt or concrete, and covered with acrylic resins to seal the surface and mark the playing lines, while providing some cushioning. Historically, hardwood surfaces were also in use in indoor settings, similar to an indoor basketball court, but these surfaces are rare now. Tennis Tennis hard courts are made of synthetic/acrylic layers on top of a concrete or asphalt foundation and can vary in color. Jenson Tyler "J. T." Brooksby (born October 26, 2000) is an American professional tennis player. He reached a career-high singles ranking of world No. 33 on 13 June 2022. Collegiate career Brooksby enrolled at Baylor University to play college tennis, but turned pro after he redshirted his freshman season due to injury. Steve "Stevie" Johnson Jr. (born December 24, 1989) is an American professional tennis player. For one week in August 2016 he was the top-ranked American in men's singles. is an inactive Japanese professional tennis player. He is the second male Japanese player to have been ranked in the top 5 in singles (after Jiro Sato), and the only one to do so in the Open Era.
