2022 Coppa Sabatini
The 2022 Coppa Sabatini (also known as the ''Gran Premio città di Peccioli'') was the 70th edition of the Coppa Sabatini road cycling one day race, which was held on 15 September 2022 as part of the 2022 UCI ProSeries calendar. The 2022 UCI ProSeries is the third season of the UCI ProSeries, the second tier road cycling tour, below the UCI World Tour, but above the various regional UCI Continental Circuits. The 2022 UCI Europe Tour was the eighteenth season of the UCI Europe Tour. The 2022 season began on 23 January 2022 with the Trofeo Luis Puig, Clàssica Comunitat Valenciana 1969, and concluded on 16 October 2022 with the Chrono des Nations and the Veneto Classic. Throughout the season, points are awarded to the top finishers of stages within stage races and the final general classification standings of each of the stages races and one-day events. The quality and complexity of a race also determines how many points are awarded to the top finishers, the higher the UCI rating of a race, the more points are awarded. Marc Hirschi (born 24 August 1998) is a Swiss cyclist, who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam . Career In September 2018 it was announced that he would join from 2019 on a three-year contract, having been a member of in 2018. In the same month, Hirschi won the under-23 road race at the UCI Road World Championships in Innsbruck, Austria. In August 2020, he was named in the startlist for the 2020 Tour de France, during which he won a stage, three combative rider awards for his performances on individual stages and the overall Combativity award. One week after the end of the Tour, he took the bronze medal in the Men's road race at the Road World Championships in Imola.
