2022 Copa Sudamericana Final
The 2022 Copa Sudamericana Final was the final match which decided the winner of the 2022 Copa Sudamericana. This was the 21st edition of the Copa Sudamericana, the second-tier South American continental club football tournament organized by CONMEBOL. The match was played on 1 October 2022 between Brazilian club São Paulo and Ecuadorian club Independiente del Valle, and it was originally scheduled to be played at Estádio Nacional Mané Garrincha in Brasília, Brazil, however, on 23 June 2022 CONMEBOL announced that a change of venue was requested by the Brazilian Football Confederation due to the 2022 Brazilian general election taking place one day after the date of the match. Following consultations between the members of CONMEBOL's Council, Estadio Mario Alberto Kempes in Córdoba, Argentina, which previously hosted the final match of the 2020 Copa Sudamericana, was selected as the new venue for the match. The 2022 Copa CONMEBOL Sudamericana was the 21st edition of the Copa Sudamericana, CONMEBOL Sudamericana (also referred to as the ''Copa Sudamericana''), South America's secondary club association football, football tournament organized by CONMEBOL. On 14 May 2020, CONMEBOL announced the candidate venues for the 2021, 2022 and 2023 club competition finals. 2020 Copa Sudamericana
The 2020 Copa CONMEBOL Sudamericana was the 19th edition of the CONMEBOL Sudamericana (also referred to as the ''Copa Sudamericana'', or pt, Copa Sul-Americana), South America's secondary club football tournament organized by CONMEBOL. On 17 October 2019, CONMEBOL announced that the final would be played at the Estadio Mario Alberto Kempes in Córdoba, Argentina with the final originally scheduled to be played on 7 November 2020. Argentine club Defensa y Justicia defeated fellow Argentine club Lanús by a 3–0 score in the final to win their first tournament title. As champions, Defensa y Justicia earned the right to play against the winners of the 2020 Copa Libertadores in the 2021 Recopa Sudamericana. Everton de Viña del Mar is a Chilean football club based in the city of Viña del Mar. The 2019 Copa Sudamericana Final was the final match to decide the winner of the 2019 Copa Sudamericana, the 18th edition of the Copa Sudamericana, South America's secondary international club football tournament organized by CONMEBOL.
