The 2022 Campeonato Paraense was the 110th edition of Pará's top professional football league. The competition started on 26 January and ended on 6 April. Remo won the championship for the 47th time. Castanhal, Pará
Castanhal is a city near the eastern edge of the state of Pará, Northern Brazil. It is located some 65 km east of the state's capital Belém and 50 km inland SE of the Bay of Marajo. It is accessed by car or bus via federal highway BR-316 . The climate is tropical rainforest. Campeonato Brasileiro Série C
The Campeonato Brasileiro Série C is the third tier of the Brazilian football league system. Unlike the first and second divisions, the Série C is not played in a double round robin system, arguably because many participating teams lack the financial conditions to travel long distances. Thus, the tournament is organized in regional groups and the table prevents teams from distant states from playing each other in the initial rounds. Until 2008, any professional team could apply, but only 64 teams would take part in the tournament.
