2022 Calcutta Premier Division
The 2022 Calcutta Football League Premier Division was the 124th overall season of the two highest state-level football divisions of West Bengal. The division consists of two tiers within it: Premier Division A and Premier Division B. Premier Division A The first stage of the Premier Division A has been held from 2nd August till September and the Super Six is supposed to be held afterwards. Mohammedan are the defending champions of Premier Division A. Mohammedan SC (Kolkata)
Mohammedan Sporting Club is an Indian multi-sports club based in Kolkata, West Bengal. Its association football, football team competes in I-League, the Indian football league system, second-tier of Indian football, as well as in Calcutta Football League (CFL), the List of oldest football competitions, oldest football league in Asia. Formed in February 1891, it is one of the oldest active football clubs in the country. Kishore Bharati Krirangan (commonly known as both Mukundapur Stadium and Mukundapur Stadium) is a multi-purpose stadium in Kolkata, India, used mainly for football matches. Naihati is a city and a municipality of North 24 Parganas district in the Indian state of West Bengal. It is a part of the area covered by Kolkata Metropolitan Development Authority (KMDA). Naihati Municipality is one of the oldest in the whole country and was established in 1869. It is the birthplace of Bankim Chandra Chattopadhyay, the author of India's national song Vande Mataram. Dum Dum is a city and a municipality of Kolkata district in the Indian state of West Bengal.
