Asian Gymnastics Championships
The Asian Gymnastic Union (AGU) organizes Asian Gymnastics Championships for each of the FIG gymnastic disciplines: men's and women's artistic gymnastics, rhythmic gymnastics, acrobatic gymnastics, aerobic gymnastics and trampoline gymnastics. This article lists only the senior editions of the Asian Gymnastics Championships, in which competitors must be over 16 years of age. Specific editions of the Asian Championships also exist for junior athletes; for example, the first edition of the Junior Asian Artistic Gymnastics Championships was held in 1971, but the first senior edition of the tournament was only held in 1996. Similarly, Junior Asian Trampoline Championships were held in 2010 and 2012, but only in 2014 the Asian Gymnastics Union held a senior tournament in conjunction with the junior championships for the first time. Sagina Muratkyzy
Sagina Muratkyzy (born 11 November 2003) is a Kazakh rhythmic gymnast, member of the national group. Personal life Muratkyzy began the sport at age four. She has received the title of Master of Sport of International Class in Kazakhstan. She's studying physical education at LN Gumilyov Eurasian National University in Nur-Sultan. Career Sagina entered the national senior group in 2019, competing at the World Championships in Baku where the Kazakh team was 24th in the All-Around and both routines. In 2021 she competed in Kitakyushu for the World Championships where Kazakhstan was 16th in the group All-Around and with 5 balls, 15th with 3 hoops and 4 clubs. In 2022 she debuted at the World Cup in Athens where she was 4th in the All-Around and with 3 ribbons and 2 balls, winning bronze with 5 hoops. Milana Parfilova
Milana Parfilova (born 30 June 2007) is a Kazakhstani rhythmic gymnast. She is the 2022 Asian Games individual bronze medalist and silver team medalist. Career At the 2022 Junior Asian Championships in Pattaya, she won gold in teams and with ball and silver with hoop. Parfilova started her senior career at the Aphrodite Cup in March, where she won two silver medals, one with hoop and one with ball. Two weeks later, she competed at the 2023 World Cup in Sofia, where she was 21st in the all-around. She then participated at her first senior Grand Prix in Thiais, France. She finished 7th in the all-around, and in the finals she finished 4th in clubs and 5th with ribbon. Her next competition was the World Cup in Baku, Azerbaijan where she finished 17th. Nataliya Usova
Nataliya Usova (born 9 June 2008) is an Uzbek rhythmic gymnast. She is a multiple Asian medalist. Career Junior In December 2021, she was chosen to represent Uzbekistan in the first edition of the experimental competition organized by Alina Kabaeva "Divine Grace" where gymnasts compete under the scoring code 2000-2004 and 2022-2024. In 2022 Usova competed at the Asian Championships, winning silver in teams and becoming the junior champion with hoop.
