2021–22 Washington Wizards Season
The 2021–22 Washington Wizards season was the 61st season of the franchise in the National Basketball Association (NBA) and 48th in the Washington, D.C. area. After a first-round exit from last year, Scott Brooks agreed to part ways with the Wizards on June 16, 2021. Wes Unseld Jr. would be hired as the next head coach on July 17, 2021. The Wizards were eliminated from postseason contention on March 31 after an Atlanta Hawks win over the Cleveland Cavaliers. Wes Unseld Jr
Westley Sissel Unseld Jr. (born September 20, 1975) is an American professional basketball coach who is the head coach for the Washington Wizards of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He is the son of Basketball Hall of Fame player, coach, and executive Wes Unseld. Early life and education Unseld was born on September 20, 1975, and grew up in Catonsville, Maryland. At a young age, he developed a close attachment to basketball; his father is Basketball Hall of Fame member Wes Unseld. From the age of five, he was in locker rooms with his father before games, and after drove home with him. As an adult, he remembers "a great family atmosphere in the locker room". Isaiah Todd (born October 17, 2001) is an American professional basketball player for the Washington Wizards of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He was a consensus five-star recruit and one of the best power forwards in the 2020 class. Kyle Alexander Kuzma (born July 24, 1995) is an American professional basketball player for the Washington Wizards of the National Basketball Association (NBA). The 2021–22 Toronto Raptors season was the 27th season of the franchise in the National Basketball Association (NBA). The 2020–21 Raptors finished the season with a 27–45 record (in a shortened season due to the COVID-19 pandemic), and missed the playoffs for the first time since 2013. Toyota Center is an indoor arena located in Houston. It is named after the Japanese automobile manufacturer Toyota. Spencer Gray Dinwiddie (born April 6, 1993) is an American professional basketball player for the Dallas Mavericks of the National Basketball Association (NBA). Montrezl Dashay Harrell (; (born January 26, 1994) is an American professional basketball player for the Philadelphia 76ers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). NBA G League
The NBA G League, or simply the G League, is the National Basketball Association's (NBA) official List of developmental and minor sports leagues, minor league basketball organization. The league was known as the National Basketball Development League (NBDL) from 2001 to 2005, and the NBA Development League (NBA D-League) from 2005 until 2017. Lawrence Dean Oliver (born February 6, 1969) is an American statistician and assistant coach for the NBA's Washington Wizards.
