2021–22 RB Leipzig Season
The 2021–22 season was the 13th season in the existence of RB Leipzig and the club's sixth consecutive season in the top flight of German football. In addition to the domestic league, RB Leipzig participated in this season's editions of the DFB-Pokal, the UEFA Champions League and the UEFA Europa League. This was Jesse Marsch's first season as coach, succeeding Julian Nagelsmann before being sacked mid-season. RB Leipzig
RasenBallsport Leipzig e.V. (), commonly known as RB Leipzig, and colloquially referred to as Red Bull Leipzig, is a German professional football club based in Leipzig, Saxony. The club was founded in 2009 by the initiative of the company Red Bull GmbH, which purchased the playing rights of fifth-tier side SSV Markranstädt with the intent of advancing the new club to the top-flight Bundesliga within eight years. Lukas Manuel Klostermann (; born 3 June 1996) is a German professional footballer who plays as a right-back or centre-back for Bundesliga club RB Leipzig and the Germany national team. Career VfL Bochum Born in Herdecke, Germany, Klostermann began playing football when he was "five or six years old". He played for various youth teams at FSV Gevelsberg, SSV Hagen and VfL Bochum.
