The 2021–22 President's Cup was the 68th season of the President's Cup. Teams All teams playing in the 2021–22 Dhivehi Premier League. Format Eight teams competing engaged in a round-robin tournament, each team played once against the others. Three points are awarded for a win, one for a draw and zero for a loss. The teams are ranked in the league table by points gained, then goal difference, then goals scored and then their head-to-head record. The top 2 teams qualified for the Final. The Football Association of Maldives (FAM), founded in 1982, is the governing body of football in the Maldives. The association under the guidance of the Ministry of Youth & Sports is responsible for all regulatory aspects of the sport in the Maldives. In 1986, FAM became a member of AFC and FIFA respectively. Club Green Streets
Club Green Streets is a professional football club based in Malé, Maldives that competes in the Dhivehi Premier League, the top flight of Maldivian football. The club was founded in 2010, starting in the third division, and earned promotion to the 2nd division as the runners up in 2012. They later earned promotion to the first division in 2016 after an unbeaten season. The club and its head coach Sobah Mohamed has mutually decided to continue their journey further by taking on the club's latest and biggest challenge since its inception. The club was established in the hopes of uniting the youth of Machangolhi through the power of football. It is still the club's main goal to provide positions within the club to as many local youngsters and to promote and develop young talents while providing them a platform to showcase their abilities. Maziya
Maziya Sports and Recreation Club is a Maldivian professional football club based in Malé. They compete in the Dhivehi Premier League, the country's top division. The club was formed in 1996 and was promoted to the first division for the first time in 2006. History The club was founded on 23 January 1996. The club is one of the most successful clubs in Maldives, having won the top tier domestic league thrice in 2016, 2019–20, and 2020–21. In the 2022 AFC Cup groups-stages, Maziya witnessed a 1–0 defeat to Bashundhara Kings, but won their second match against Gokulam Kerala.
